MoVo-Work

MoVo-work is a short intervention to promote physical activity, specially designed for the company setting (Krebs et al., 2015, 2019, 2020). The group program is aimed at employees who are not or very irregularly physically active and supports them in integrating more sport activity into their everyday life in the long term. It is composed of four course units, each consisting of a theoretical (20 minutes coaching) and a practical part (60 minutes sport activities):

First coaching and practical unit

Coaching:

Determining goals and movement ideas

Practice:

Relaxation, mobilization, strengthening, stretching, body journey

Second coaching and practical unit

Coaching:

Barriers & barrier management, movement plan & 3pw rule

Practice:

Strengthening, mobilization, stretching, progressive muscle relaxation

Third coaching and practical unit

Coaching:

Social support (support options and wishes)

Practice:

Outdoor training (mobilization, strengthening, stretching)

Fourth coaching and practical unit

Coaching:

Final check

Presentation of exercise and support plans

Practice:

Cardiovascular and endurance training
